National Gathering of Dominican Laity
Auckland, 21-23 November 2014
Living the Dominican Mission in Aotearoa New Zealand
Building Connections | Sharing passion
Please do come to this important gathering, starting Friday evening 21 November and finishing lunch time Sunday 23 November. We want to keep building our Dominican family in Aotearoa New Zealand, especially by strengthening one another in praying, living and proclaiming the truth. This is much needed in so many areas of life. Each of us is an important link in our Dominican family, each is irreplaceable. By sharing our thoughts, experience and ideas we will be able to work more effectively as a family committed to carrying on the mission initiated by Dominic. And in the Dominican spirit, our time together should be fun!
This is an advance notice so you can put the dates in your diaries and organise cheap fares if you are coming from out of town. We have a booking at University Hall in Auckland city for $55 a night for bed and breakfast. There will be some additional costs but we are aiming to keep them low. We are hoping as many as possible will live in. We have some funds to help anyone who needs a subsidy to attend.
Please feel free to send this notice to anyone you know with links to the Dominican family. We will be circulating a registration form in July. In the meantime, if you have any questions, contact Susan Healy (09-8176464, healy92@gmail.com) or Teresa McNamara (021 649 012) Teresa.McNamara@xtra.co.nz). For updates, go to www.dominicans.org.nz
