On Saturday 14 May Dominicans in the Lower North Island gathered for a day in Fielding. In the morning they shared a reflection on St Catherine. After lunch they had a discussion about the national gathering planned for November and starting planning on how they would share their pillar of study in a creative way at the National Gathering. Later in the afternoon they discussed a draft letter which will be sent to the friars and sisters requesting that lay Dominicans in Aotearoa New Zealand be formally recognised.
